The business community in Torrevieja met yesterday for the 9th Business Gala, where four enterprises were acknowledged for their trajectory, strategy and innovation and their revamped images and efforts to adapt their businesses to sustainable trade.

The event was held at the Centro Cultural Virgen del Carmen and dozens of local retailers turned up to support the prizes and exchange experiences with other trade professionals in their respective sectors.

Through this initiative, the council and Trade Association invited locals from all over the district to come along and do some shopping in the town centres on Saturdays. To make the shopping experience even more enjoyable, entertainment and commercial promotions were organised in different parts of the traditional town centre, with activities for all ages and nationalities.

The following four businesses received prizes at yesterday’s awards: Muebles Viuda, Salvador Artesano, Óptica Llamusí and Oleoteca Torrevieja.
